Whether it’s climbing, surfing, or even skydiving, Ava has never been one to shy away from a challenge. But lately, the thrill-seeking has taken a backseat, since becoming the proud owner of a Victorian home, most of her spare time is now spent taming a wild garden or refreshing tired old walls with a lick of paint.

True to form, she’s not stopping there. This September, she’s rolling up her sleeves once again – this time for a plumbing for beginners’ course at Southport College.

Ava brings that same hands-on, practical spirit to everything she does, especially in her role at FLG.  She’s the friendly face who helps new customers settle in and supports existing ones whenever they need a helping hand getting started with something new.

We met with Ava to hear what she loves most about her role and why she’s always up for the next adventure, whether at home or work.

From Toolbelt to Toolkit: Ava tells her story

With a sales career spanning door-to-door canvassing, call centre management, and overseeing data for over 300 representatives, I’ve gained a real-world understanding of what drives results. This experience allows me to work closely with customers to ensure FLG fits seamlessly into their unique sales approach.

Because when you’ve worked on the front lines of sales, you know one thing for sure: having the right tools can make all the difference.

Experience Matters: Just How Easy Is the Onboarding Process?

Very easy. In fact, while we typically allow around four weeks, I usually have everything up and running in three.

That’s because experience has taught me how to make the process smooth and stress-free. I plan for customers to take the first week to pull their data together.  That gives me weeks two and three to focus on their configuration. Week four is then reserved for testing and final tweaks, making sure everything’s set up exactly how they need it to be.

Compared to the wider CRM industry, that implementation window is incredibly short. But it works, and here’s why: our personal, human approach.

My team and I are always available. Our customers aren’t passed from person to person, or stuck chasing faceless support queues, as can be the case with some larger providers. Instead, they build real relationships with us. They feel supported, heard, and confident every step of the way.

By the end of the four weeks, most customers not only have a fully tailored system, they often walk away with something better than they expected. That kind of service is rare these days. But it’s exactly what we believe every customer deserves.

There’s No “I” in Team

At FLG, we’re all pulling in the same direction. Our sales team never overpromises, and our implementation team almost always over-delivers. We work closely together, communicating and collaborating daily, so everyone stays in tune with not only each other’s needs but, most importantly, the needs of our customers. It’s funny, we have an excellent rating on Trustpilot, and as the main point of contact, I often get the spotlight. But the truth is, it’s always a team effort.

What’s Next?

Once I’ve wrapped up my plumbing course, I’m planning to jump straight into a tiling for beginners course. I’ll give anything a go, especially if it helps me work smarter, not harder.
